Two weeks! You are almost seniors!! It was really great to see you all on Thursday. I got pretty choked up after getting off that Zoom - you've been such a fun and inspiring group with which to work this year. Thank you.
Please read everything below as we are so close to done...
I. Semester Two Final - Social Justice Project
This week, you need to piece together your Social Justice visual, project creation, and presentation.
**All the requirements are on our first lesson, as well as the rubric - refer to both as you create!
A. Presentation Outline
This week, you will complete an outline for your presentation. This is meant to organize your speech and guide your visual creation that accompanies your speech (again, see the initial directions and rubric!) Use the outline document below.

II. College Application Essay - OPTIONAL
The essay is optional - as I mentioned in our Zoom meeting. This is due to the rapid pace in which the end of school is approaching, the stress of our current "living" and "learning" situation, and the balance I am trying to strike for you all in the little time we have left.
I will completely understand if you are not able to or interested in completing the essay right now. BUT, if you are and you want feedback from me, you must complete ALL THREE ITEMS BELOW ON TIME...
A. Rough Draft
Tuesday evening your rough draft is due. You will need to follow the directions the college gives you (word count, etc.), as well as the following for my class:
1. Title = name of college + prompt + word count
2. Format
a. double space
b. 12 pt font
c. Times New Roman
3. Submit your rough draft to Turnitin.com by 11:59 P.M. on Tuesday, 5/26.
B. Editing
1. Starting Wed, 5/27 at midnight, Turnitin will automatically assign you another
student's essay to edit.
*If your essay is too personal and you do not want others to see its content,
email the rough draft to me instead of Turnitin.com. You will get directions on
editing from there.
2. Edit due Wed, 5/27 at 11:59 P.M. on Turnitin.com
C. Final Draft
1. Submit your final draft with prompt and school at the top.
2. Due Thurs, 5/28 to Turnitin.com
