Three weeks left until finals. We're almost there!

I graded all the Social Justice proposals - you need to go on Turnitin and look at my comments at the top. Your grade will be determined by your adjustments in regards to those comments - definitely look at them today!

Please read everything below as we begin wrapping up our year...

I. Semester Two Final - Social Justice Project

This week, after looking at my comments on your proposal on Turnitin, you will begin/continue researching your issue. Remember, the directions and all handouts can be found on our class website under "Social Justice".

A. Research Document

This week, find your three sources and all the facts you plan to use from them for your presentation. Remember, you are finding facts on two things: the prevalence of the issue in modern day AND proof your proposed solution is possible.

Revisit our first lesson on this project, where I detail everything you need to include in the presentation. Also, LOOK AT THE RUBRIC!

1. 3 sources minimum

2. Make sure they are reliable

3. Annotate/take notes

4. Create one document that contains

a. each source

b. a list of the facts you are using from that source

5. Research Document due to Turnitin.com by Thursday, 5/21 at 11:59 P.M.

B. Final Project Presentation

This is the big one - the last one. This is the signup for your actual final in this class. Because it is a presentation, they are spread out over two weeks to fit everyone in. Find a day and time that works for you. Once you sign up, your slot CANNOT be changed.
