4. College Research - Last college this year due May 27th
A. Finish College #10 in your OneNote notebook.
B. FREE/REDUCED TUITION COLLEGE - this college must be one of the tuition free colleges
offered in the United States
i. As tuition has been such a burden for students, the conversation about its removal has been
a hot topic for years. But, are free colleges worth the trade off? For this last college this
year, we will take a look at how one free/reduced tuition college stacks up against the others
you have researched.
ii. For a list of such colleges, see the following article from Forbes:
https://www.forbes.com/sites/zackfriedman/2018/11/27/colleges-no-student-loans/#3ec54826156d
C. Be sure you complete all 9 items - see your notes and your previous colleges.
D. I also posted the directions on our website under the "College" red button at the bottom of
the home page.
5. Summer School
For those of you considering summer school, please read the following:
A. You can find the list of courses here https://www.pvpss.com/summer-2020-high-school-online
courses/
B. ALL courses will be online this summer.
C. Registration - see information here https://www.pvpss.com/summerhsregistration/
D. Remember, summer school is not required. It is also not free. Please, if you have not already,
speak with your parents about your thoughts on or needs for summer school.
So proud of you - keep going! We are so close to this year's end and being back together someday soon,
Mrs. Sidella
