Hi AVID! I hope you had a fun (as fun as it can be right now) and relaxing Spring Break. Below is a list of lessons and assignments for this week. POST ALL HOMEWORK IN YOUR ONENOTE BINDER.

READ EVERYTHING HERE - Use it as a checklist, carefully making sure you complete all items.

1. Conferences - Sign Up - Due Friday, 4/10

During the second and third weeks of April (April 13 to 17, and April 20 to 23), I will meet individually with all AVID students to discuss current grades, 10th grade scheduling, and any questions or concerns - the meetings will be one on one, so no other students will be in attendance during your 10 minute time slot.

All students are required to sign up for and attend one of these ZOOM meetings. These meetings are for a grade in 4th quarter. These are student to teacher meetings. It is the AVID student who should attend; parents may not use this as a teacher parent meeting.

2. Conferences - ZOOM Invitation

After you have signed up for a conference on our SignUp Genius page, set reminders on your phone, in your agenda, etc. for your day and time. Below is the information for your ZOOM conference - this invitation works for all sign up slots.

Missed appointments will receive zero credit. School appropriate behavior and dress required.

3. List of Assignments for ALL Your Classes - Due Wednesday, April 8

*In your OneNote Notebook, in the "9th Grade" binder tab, complete the following:

A. Add a page titled "Agenda 4-6 to 4-10".

*If you cannot see the +Page at the bottom, click on any current page and that will allow you

to add new pages.

B. List each of your classes by schedule order.

C. Beneath each class, list all the assignments due this week.

D. Next to each assignment, include its due date.

E. EXAMPLE:

1st - Biology

1. Read Chapter 12 and take notes - due Thurs, 4/9

2. Complete Turnitin.com discussion board on 12.2 - due Fri, 4/10

2nd - AVID

1. Agenda in OneNote - due Wed, 4/8

4. College Research - Due Wednesday, April 29

A. Finish College #9 in your OneNote notebook.

B. Be sure you complete all 9 items - see your notes and your previous colleges.

C. I also posted the directions on our website under the "College" red button at the bottom of

the home page.

5. Community Service - cancelled

Due to our current and ever changing situation, the community service requirement for this semester has been cancelled. All students who have completed community service since January 21st will be able to submit it for extra credit. Details to come in May.
